BOOKKEEPER / ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

 The Port seeks an experienced administrative professional with bookkeeping expertise to replace a valued member of our team.  This position may be either full or part time.  Our working environment is enthusiastic, collegial, team oriented, and highly productive.

 Required qualifications

Thorough knowledge of office procedures

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Extensive bookkeeping (software) experience

Proficiency in internet research, email, and Microsoft Word and Excel

Experience with filing of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports

Three or more years of relevant experience

Verifiable professional references

Sincere desire to improve our local quality of life

Other desired qualifications

Proficiency in QuickBooks

Post-secondary education

Experience with Microsoft Front Page, PowerPoint, and Access
