The Pemiscot County Port Authority is located on State Highway 84 East in Pemiscot County, between Hayti and Caruthersville, MO (see map). Pemiscot County Port Harbor is located at mile 849 on the Lower Mississippi River between St. Louis, MO and Memphis, TN.

Pemiscot Port Railroad is an industry track certified by  the BNSF. The rail spur is located at station 98213 (Hayti, MO) and is approximately 6 miles in length. The spur has four sections of storage track (see digram) totaling 6,898.

Pemiscot County Port offers access to three modes of transportation: river, rail and highway. Interstate 55 is approximately 2 miles west of the port location (Exit 19, Missouri), providing the first north-south artery to intersect each of the east-west Interstate highways west of the Mississippi River. Interstate I-55 is approximately 3 miles south of the port location (Exit 4, Missouri). Completion of the Interstate I55  Bridge between Caruthersville and Dyersburg, TN, in 1976, established Pemiscot County as a complete intermodel transportation interchange providing direct linkage to all parts of the country.

A public dock, fleeting service and building sites are available at the year-round, ice-free, slack-water harbor. Team tracks are available for rail-truck transfer of cargo. Four companies currently operate terminals at the port site. Enhanced Enterprise Zone benefits are available to all tenants. Two International airports are located with an easy interstate drive to St. Louis or Memphis.
