Pemiscot County Port Railroad was completed in 2010 and has access to the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway at station 98213 in Hayti, MO. The newly constructed rail spur is 6 miles in length and contains 5,515 feet of storage track. The rail spur links the Pemiscot County Port and Inland Waterway system with one of the largest rail carriers west of the Mississippi River. The spur was constructed using 133lb rail. There are numerous green-field sites available along the spur with the Pemiscot County Port owning a 19 acre tract at the end of the spur; adjacent to the Port Harbor (Site B).
