Highways
Interstate 55 is located two miles west of the port. It connects Chicago, St. Louis, Memphis, New Orleans and all major east-west interstates in the Midwest. Interstate 155/U.S. Highway 412 is located three miles south of the port and is a developing major east-west artery since completion of the Interstate 155 bridge; the only bridge over the Mississippi River between Memphis, TN and Cairo, IL. The port location is linked with Interstate 155 by newly paved State Highway D as a result of Federal appropriation in 2010.
U.S. Highway 60 and Interstate 57 are within 50 miles of the port location, providing additional east-west access. Interstate 40 is within 70 miles of the port location at West Memphis, AR.
