Electrical

The Pemiscot County Port is served by Pemiscot-Dunklin Electric Cooperative.  Rates for service up to 100 kWh are 0.1288 per kw; over 100 kWh are 0.0688 per kW. Three phase electric power is available at the port.  Additional information is available at (573)757-6641.

Areas adjacent to the Port may also be served by AmerenUE, an investor owned utility.  Rates are on file with the Missouri Public Service Commission and in all Ameren UE offices. Telephone

Water

Water is supplied to the Port by Consolidated Public Water Supply District #1.  Rates are $10.00 for the first 1,000 gallons and $5.00 for every 1,000 gallon thereafter. For additional information contact (573) 359-1713.

Sewer

Sewer treatment is by oxidation pond that serves a population equivalent of 10,000. Rates are as follows based on water usage:

Up to 2,000 gallons------------$8.00 minimum
All over 2,000 gallons---------$1.65/1,000 gallons

Natural Gas

A dependable supply of natural gas is assured by three pipeline companies which supply Atmos Energy.  The Port is served by a 3" steel line at MAOP of 100 psi and operating at 90 psi.  Present delivery is 50 mcfh but can be upgraded.  For information, contact J.W. Hackworth at (573)471-9919.
